Welcome to the John Street Farmers Market!
We are located at St. George-the-Martyr Anglican Church in the heart of Downtown Toronto, nestled away in the beautifully enclosed gardens of the church grounds on Grange Park, sandwiched between the AGO & Queen Street West.
Come by and visit our community of local farmers, artisans, merchants, and other entrepreneurial spirits, and get yourself something good. We strive to provide local and sustainable products to our very urban, central-Toronto neighborhood, as well as to all the folks commuting through the park, idling after class, or on their way to check out free Wednesdays at the Ago, while creating a fun community atmosphere where people can simply relax. Whether you’re in it for the hyper-local greens, soap with an edge, quality live music, kids programming, or a tasty Caribbean brownie… we’ve got it going on.
Our cafe partner this year is Big Wheel Coffee, purveyor of great brews and utilizer of a fantastic array of coffee makers. Dan from Big Wheel will be an important contributor to the set-up and character of the market, and he pretty much seals the deal on being friendly. We’re glad to have him!
